Tuangsit WATAGANARA (Thailand)
Dr. Wataganara is an Associate Professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. He has a special research interest in fetal screening, diagnosis, and therapy, as well as preeclampsia screening and prevention. He has over 50 publications related to fetal medicine in peer review journals in the past 10 years. He has received an Outstanding Young Investigator Award from CNAPS III Meeting (USA, 2003), and Shan S. Ratnam Young Gynecologist Award from 20th AOCOG Meeting (Japan 2007). He is an executive director of Ian Donald Inter-University School of Medical Ultrasound, international board member of World Association of Perinatal Medicine (WAPM), and associate fellow of International Association of Perinatal Medicine (IAPM). He is also an executive board member of National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), and an executive board member and President-Elect, and Academic Chair of Medical Ultrasonic Society of Thailand (MUST). His Fetal Therapy unit in Bangkok is one of the most active facilities of its kind in Asia.
